District Superintendent
Dr. Joseph W. “Joey” & Maribeth Jennings
Dr. Jennings is a graduate of Houghton College, Asbury Seminary, and has a Doctorate of Ministry fromGordon-ConwellTheological Seminary. He also serves as an adjunct professor at Indiana Wesleyan University.
The Jennings are coming to the Western New York District from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Dr. Jennings has served as Senior Pastor for 18 years, and as a youth pastor prior to that. Married to his wife, Maribeth for 24 years, the couple have three children, Jesse (21), a student at Indiana Wesleyan University, Hannah (19), a student at Houghton College, and Ben (14) at home.
Dr. Jennings’ greatest desire is to see a work that only God can do among us, renewing and empowering the church to make an impact on the culture around us. He desires to fulfill the passion God has given him to challenge pastors and churches to fully use the gifts God has given them for His Kingdom. His prayer is that churches will not be satisfied with what human abilities accomplish and hunger for God’s fresh work of revival. The Jennings are honored to serve the district in this role.
