Dr. Joseph Jennings is a graduate of Houghton College, Asbury Seminary, and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He also serves as an adjunct professor at Indiana Wesleyan University.
Prior to coming to the Western New York District, Dr. Jennings served as Senior Pastor for 19 years at Christ Wesleyan Church in Winston-Salem, NC and as youth pastor at Calvary Wesleyan Church in Bethlehem, PA. Married to his wife, Maribeth for 28 years. They have three children.
Dr. Jennings’ greatest desire is to see a work that only God can do among us, renewing and empowering the church to make an impact on the culture around us. He desires to fulfill the passion God has given him to challenge pastors and churches to fully use the gifts God has given them for His Kingdom. His prayer is that churches will not be satisfied with what human abilities accomplish and hunger for God’s fresh work of revival. The Jennings are honored to serve the district in this role.
