Capital Stewardship Campaign Providers

Several years ago the Wesleyan Church launched this helpful service because Capital Stewardship Campaign providers typically would not work with churches under $200,000 in total income and charged $25,000 or more for their services. "Forward in Faith" is designed to raise 1 to 3 times what a congregation averages annually and costs $8,500 for a church and $4,750 for a church plant's first building.

With "Forward In Faith", you will receive personalized support from one of Stewardship Ministries consultants. This includes up to three on-site visits, plus anytime support via phone or email. Materials include a training video, featuring program creator Stan Toler, and two step-by-step Forward in Faith manuals that clearly guide you through the campaign. Your manual includes a detailed time line, model sermons, as well as a CD of resources to simplify the development of materials for your congregation. Additionally, you will received a set of videos and printed materials to prepare you to educate your church leaders and congregation on biblical stewardship.

Dr. John Maxwell, while a nationally recognized and sought after speaker/teacher on leadership noticed that one of the most urgent needs expressed by pastors was in raising much-needed funds for major projects. So John's company INJOY began helping churches with their capital campaigns. By 1992, those initial programs had developed into INJOY Stewardship Services® (ISS). ISS has grown to become the clear leader in a booming industry and has partnered with over thousands of churches to raise more than $4 billion dollars for new facilities, debt retirement and ministry expansion.

ISS partners with pastors to help them plan and lead vision-driven campaigns. Strategic to vision-driven campaigns is a pastor capable of leading his congregation to fully embrace the vision. As your stewardship partner, ISS will help pastor and congregation strengthen and sharpen leadership skills essential for leading a vision-driven campaign. ISS has discovered over the years that campaigns don't usually fall short of their goal for a lack of vision, but because the necessary leadership skills have not been honed.

ISS/Max was created two years ago to aid smaller churches in carrying out effective stewardship campaigns. Though certainly more affordable, ISS/Max will deliver a quality campaign experience to your next ministry project.
